ACTIVIDAD 2.12.

One-point (or' parallel') perspective II

When we look at an object head-on, parallel lines appear to come together at the horizon, at what is known as the 'vanishing point:

Activities

Look at the way in which this street has been drawn from a one-point perspective.

Follow these steps to make a copy of the drawing:

Draw in the horizon (LH) and identify the vanishing point (P). Then, draw the vertical lines of the buildings.

Using a ruler, draw in the parallel lines from the vanishing point.

Add the details, erase the lines that you no longer need and colour your picture in.

Materials

A lead pencil, a ruler and coloured pencils.
