ACTIVIDAD 3.6.

SHADES

Geometric lines can be used when shading in a picture to produce a sense of volume. This is achieved when lines are used to make areas of light stand out and areas of shadow more intense.

Activities

Look at the steps followed to shade in the geometric volumes. They show the layers of shading that have been applied. First of all, horizontal parallel lines were drawn. Then, vertical lines were added on top of some of the horizontal lines. After that, oblique (diagonal) lines were superimposed onto the previous lines, followed by a final layer of oblique lines in the other direction.

Shade in the geometric volumes in the outline at the bottom, following the same steps.
