ACTIVIDAD 2.6.
Dividing a segment into equal parts
Follow these steps to learn how to divide a segment into equal parts:
- Draw a straight line at any angle from one of the ends of the line A-B.
- Divide up the new line (A-C) into equal lengths, marking it at the same number of intervals as the number of parts you wish to divide your segment into - four in the example on the right.
- With a ruler, join up the ends of the two lines.
- Divide up line A-B marking it at the same number of intervals as you did with A-C. Now join up the marks on each line to draw new lines parallel to c-b.
